What changing your locks actually involves

The point of the visit is that every key made before today stops working. This is the order it happens in.

What we ask on the phone
How many locks and whether they match now. Most homes have collected two or three keys they never needed.
Proving the home is yours
ID is checked before a single cylinder comes off. It is the reason this is a trade and not a favor.
Rekeying or replacing
A rekey keeps your existing locks and retires every key made before today. Replacement is only advised when the hardware itself has failed.
